Lila Marie is ONE!!
How did that happen!!! She was just a little tiny baby yesterday. And she is not tiny now! We love her to pieces each and every roll! She is a sweet girl who loves to play with her brother and daddy. If Lila wakes up from nap before James Darren, which happens most days, she will often crawl to his room and start hitting on the door. Lila is our little princess, she knows what she wants, how she wants it, and when she wants it. Lila likes to sleep late (well, around here we consider anything after 7 late). She has pretty much stopped taking bottles and done fairly well with the transition. She still takes two naps a day although sometimes her morning nap is pretty short and often done in the car. She loves to take a bath. She looks like a little otter flipping around and splashing everywhere. You cannot take your eyes off of her because she will just put her face in or try and stand up or grab on to the faucet. She still uses a passi but I am trying to cut down on how much she has it. I love to hear James Darren say "Hey Pwetty Gurlly" that pretty much sums it up she is our "Pwetty Gurlly" who we love to pieces!

Lets try this again...Ha
Lila is 11 months old! Wow! I cannot believe it! In someways it seems like just yesterday that she was born and in others it seems as if she has always been part of our family. We love her sweet, smiling, sassy face so much! She is happy and independent. However, she loves being held. When she gets excited she throws her head from side to side and laughs. She loves James Darren, I'm not sure if the feeling is mutual. She often says Ja Da, Ja Da (James Darren) repeatedly. She is a daddy's girl and lunges for him when he comes home. Lila has a very sensitive stomach and mostly eats BRAT food and soy milk. I am hoping she will grow out of it. She has ZERO interest in any toy. None. her favorite activities are trying to take things from James Darren (she is usually pretty successful), playing chase, eating non-foods such as acorns, emptying entire shelves of their contents and finding harmful things to chew on or drink. Needless to say she keeps us on our toes. But we love our spunky little sister. She is a great sleeper! At night and for naps for which I am extremely grateful. Here are a some pictures of our little family.

Lila is 9 months old! Wow how time flies. We are having so much fun. She is a wonderful baby and usually very happy. She loves her big brother and anything he is playing with. I am so happy that I get to spend the days with them. I pray that they are growing in stature and favor with the Lord each day. Here are a few things I want to remember about Lila at this stage.
- She just started crawling. She has been able to get around and reach ANYTHING for a while now but she is now truly crawling.
- She tries to pull up on everything and mostly wants to be standing. She can't quite get herself up but if you help her she is happy to stand and play for a while.
- Still takes 4 6oz bottles a day. She eats almost any real food. She loves all fruit, sweet potatoes, french fries :), and crackers.
- She sleeps from about 7-7 at night. She likes to take two naps a day but doesn't always get a morning nap in. If not, her afternoon nap is close to 3 hours.
- She will go to just about anybody but fusses if I walk out of the room or walk by her without speaking.
We love her so much and are so happy to have her sweet smiling face in our lives!

February
I wrote this blog almost 2 weeks ago but am just now getting it posted...
So since I am not blogging all that much but want to keep up with what is going on in our lives I thought I would start making a monthly blog. It will be a combination of whats new with us and an update on Lila's stats. Hopefully I will be able to get a few other posts in each month but at least this way I can document the big things.
February was a really nice month at our house. I think we are really starting to adjust to life as a family of 4. We got to enjoy watching Darren play basketball on the intramural team. We had Ladies Retreat at church which was a huge success. And we went to our first Auburn Gymnastics meet. We had a great time and plan to go to many more. I also had Mastitis this month, that was not fun! However, I think we are on the mend now.
Lila sleeps through the night now. She will go to sleep about 10:30 and wake up between 6 and 6:30! Yay!
Her napping is not very consistent but that is mostly my fault. She usually sleeps wherever in the mornings, car seat, swing, depending on what we have going on. In the afternoon I try really hard to get her to sleep sometime between 2 and 4 so she and James Darren will be down for a nap at the same time so that I can get some things done around the house or get a nap myself. I am still getting up at 3 am to pump each night.
I have started writing down some of the things James Darren says because we find them quit humorous sometimes. Here are some of my favorites.... Some of them are not my favorite at the time but still pretty funny.
No, no, i not wear pants
I not help Daddy Vabuum (vacuum), Me- why not? JD- it too loud
I go take bath, Batman in there. Darren - i bet he thought you abandoned him, Stinky
Don't touch Baba Bear. No, no don't touch him. (In reference to where my hand is placed while reading Berenstain Bears)
Here are a bunch of pictures to catch you up...

Lila Marie 2 Months
I can't believe our little girl is 2 months old! It has gone by so fast! We are having so much fun getting to know Lila. We are having a lot of fun as a family of four. Here are some things I want to remember about Lila at 2 months.
Lila weighs 9lbs 5oz. She has not had her two month appointment yet but I have been weighing her at home.
During the day she is still eating about every two hours.
She goes to bed about 10:30 or 11 at night and will sleep until 9 in the morning. She eats at about 3am and 6am during that time.
Her naps are much more sporadic. Sometimes she sleeps in her swing, sometimes in her carseat if we are out and other times I just hold her. I am trying to get better about laying her down if we are at home.
Last night was her first night to sleep in her crib. She did great! She slept in her bed all the way until her 6am feeding.
Lila is very laid back and goes with the flow. It's a good thing since we are on the go quite often.
